Money in the meter

Image What if our life is like a parking spot at a parking meter? Somebody put money in the meter. We just don't know when our time is up.

Do I really want to spend my time staring at the meter and wonder how much time I have and who put the money in in the first place and is there a better spot down the road or should I have parked closer to the curb?

Can I leave the windows open or will it rain? Should I cover the valuables on the backseat so potential robbers can't see what's under the blanket carefully draped over my camera and my laptop?

What if I leave the car unlocked, don't worry about the time nor how close I am parked to the curb and make my way to explore the neighborhood I landed in?
